Wallowa Lake Lodge

Wake up to the aroma of coffee, bacon and the Lodge hazelnut pancakes with marionberry butter… sip tea on the back deck before your morning activities…later, savor your prime rib dinner, relax and enjoy dessert in front of the stone fireplace.

Bronze Antler Bed & Breakfast

The Bronze Antler is an American-style bed & breakfast with European influence. Our 1925 Craftsman Bungalow was originally home to one of Joseph’s sawmill supervisors. The warm patina of original woodwork, copper-plated hardware, and period-inspired hand-painted stencils accents all rooms. Local craftspeople helped us restore this home in keeping with the William Morris tradition of the European Arts and Crafts movement. Our living and dining rooms hold a mixture of European antiques and comfortable furniture. A DVD-dedicated television (no satellite or cable channels), games, puzzles, and a library of hiking guides, field guides, and local books and maps are available for your use. Plan your day of gallery hopping and bronze foundry touring. Reconnoiter for your hike or bike ride, or plan your wilderness horseback or llama trek. Browse through our local restaurant menus while sipping complimentary soft drinks from the guest refrigerator. Enjoy a glass of sherry in front…

Summer Lake Hot Springs

Summer Lake Hot Springs is located in the Oregon Outback, two hours southeast of Bend on Highway 31. Natural hot mineral springs flow into outdoor rock pools and into the historic bath-house at 113 degrees. High desert activities include wildlife viewing, hiking, mountain bike riding, fly-fishing and star gazing. Accommodations include cozy geothermal heated cabins, a guest house, RV sites and camping. Come heal your body and soul at Summer Lake.

Highway 20: Bend to Burns

Wake up your recondite historian and geologist and the events of Highway 20 are perhaps Oregon’s most interesting combination of geology, and Native American and pioneer culture in one stretch.
