Jessi Duley manages three kids and a fitness empire
written by Mackenzie Wilson
WORKOUT I do spin three days a week and strength train two to three times a week. I’ve been an avid spinner for years, hence why I started BurnCycle. But after I had my son, Fox, I realized my body needed more, which is why I opened my cross-training studio, The Lab.
NUTRITION Backup bananas because we go through about a bushel a day in the Duley house. Emergency burritos and wine in a can because I have too much energy and too many kids to put it in a glass and not break it.
INSPIRATION Anyone actually doing something inspires me, but I also make it a point in my life to find mentors. Investing in people and seeing their growth really inspires me, too. I have to give credit where credit is due. A lot of what has allowed me to live this lifestyle is my partner. He is an entrepreneur as well and has been at it longer than me, so he helps guide me on this crazy path.
EVENTS July 22: The Summer of Joy Games A decathlon at Portland’s Providence Park to benefit the Children’s Cancer Association. Sign up at burn-cycle.com.
