Grand Tour Spring Ride | May 7-8 | Eastern Oregon
Join the Grand Tour Spring Ride and take part in a road trip through Eastern Oregon by bike. You can sign up for one- or two-day rides along one of Oregon’s designated scenic bikeways. If you opt for the two-day adventure, you will stay the night in the historic small town of Baker City.

Rose Festival | May 27-June 13 | Portland
The Rose Festival has been a Portland tradition for more than 100 years. During the festival, Portland’s downtown waterfront park is transformed, featuring rides and attractions as well as live music and food vendors. The festival culminates with the coronation of Portland’s Rose Queen and the Grand Floral Parade.
Why it’s on our list: The fascinating story of how Portland became known as the City of Roses.
Roseburg Beer Week | May 7-14 | Southern Oregon
For one week each year, Roseburg labels itself as “Brewburg” to showcase the city’s craft brewing culture. Throughout the week there will be a beer festival, special beer releases and tours of Roseburg’s breweries. You’ll also find live music, games and contests at the variety of venues participating in the week of beer.
Why it’s on our list: Oregon and beer share a deep history.
Florence Rhododendron Festival | May 20-22 | Coast
The Florence Rhododendron Festival kicks off on May 20 with the crowning of the festival’s king and queen. The coastal festival has been held annually in Florence since 1912 and is the second oldest flower festival in Oregon. The family friendly festival will have a street vendor fair, car show, carnival and a 5k run/walk.
Why it’s on our list: There’s a lot to explore in Florence.
Memorial Weekend in Wine Country | May 28-30 | Willamette Valley
This Memorial Day weekend, tip a glass to the end of Oregon Wine Month and the beginning of summer. Throughout the Willamette Valley, more than 150 wineries will host special events, unveil new releases and provide delicious food pairings.
