“Fired Up!” Concert – 7:30 p.m. at United Church of Christ, 1801 E. Jackson St., Medford. This is the 15th annual spring concert performed by the Rogue Valley Peace Choir. The concert’s theme “Fired Up!” is a response to recent events, as people worldwide have become more involved and pro-active in their support of sustenance, healthcare, education, freedom, justice, and peace for all people, all over our precious world. So, we engage in dialogue, we sing, we volunteer and, as one of our songs says, “we march, we vote…the power of the people is greater than the people in power.” The concert, which will feature songs of peace, social justice, and environmental stewardship, is open to all with donations gratefully accepted at the door.
