Witness the transformative power of love and music.
Revisit one of the oldest stories ever told in this mythological journey. The wedding of Orfeo and Euridice ends tragically when she is bitten by a snake and dies. Heartbroken, Orpheus travels to the underworld. Armed with only his lyre, he must charm the furies of Hades, ghosts of the dead, and a three-headed dog before he can try to bring her back to the world of the living. We’ll celebrate Gluck’s beloved opera with thousands of rose petals, a full chorus, and a ballet.
Sung in Italian with projected English translations above the stage.
