Lillian Pitt, Distinguished Big River Artist, in Person Show in Sisters, at Raven Makes Gallery June 22-24; Artists Reception Friday, June 22, 4-7 pm.

Lillian’s Warm Spring ancestors lived in and near the Columbia River Gorge. Her contemporary fine art pieces and jewelry delight today’s art lovers, and at the same time, honor the history and legends of her people.

Though Lillian Pitt’s works have shown in multiple galleries and museums over the years, this is the first time in ten years that it will be displayed at a gallery in Central Oregon.

Creations in bronze, glass, mixed media, and jewelry, contemporary in nature, reflect the traditions, lifeways, and symbols of her innovative and artistic ancestors of the Big River Gorge.
