Set in the coastal resort town of Gearhart, just five miles north of Seaside, the Gearhart Hotel and Sand Trap pub grace the gorgeous greens of the Gearhart Golf Links, an 18-hole public course that is among the oldest west of the Mississippi. The Sand Trap is a great place to while away an afternoon at the coast. Stop by for a casual meal before or after a round of golf. Have a cocktail or two outside on the patio next to the firepit. Or ask for a meal to go and take it across the street to enjoy on the beach. Along with the pub that seats 120 (plus an additional 100 outdoor seats overlooking the greens), McMenamins offers refreshments on the golf course along with special wedding and meeting spaces.
Set near beautiful Cascade Head on the Pacific Ocean, the Lighthouse serves classic pub fare in a seaside setting, complete with an onsite brewery. With the scent of sea salt on the air, enjoy McMenamins handcrafted ales, wines and spirits in a casual, family-friendly environment, or take in the view of the brewery where the open fermenters afford a view of brewing in action. Lighthouse Brewpub allows pets at their front sidewalk seating only.
The Lovell Brewery + Taproom was originally built to house expanding the Lovell Auto Co. in 1922. As a fire devastated the city, some drastic measures were taken to save the new building. As many Astorian business owners were out of a storefront, the building transformed into the Lovell Arcade and Theater until the city was able build back up. The building remained an automotive dealership and repair facility until the late 1990′s. As the Fort George Brewery stretched out into a brewery block in late 2010, the Lovell Auto Building was renovated to house a 30 barrel brewhouse, canning line, and taproom. Much like the Lovell Arcade of old, as the brewery expands they have hosted markets, speeches, and concerts. The brewery and taproom is open to the public Friday through Sunday. This space will continue to evolve just like their beers.
Bill’s Beers are crafted on site, on the top floor of the tavern. They use only the finest raw ingredients, most of which are locally procured. Our goal is to have a variety of styles available to suit most tastes. Their selection continuously evolves to reflect the palates and preferences of their clientele.

The name of the Brewery was changed to Astoria Brewing Co. in 2005 commemorating Astoria’s first Brewery Company which was established in 1872. Their Brew Master uses only the finest ingredients to create our exceptional beers. Each beer is handcrafted using a wide range of hops & grains, thus creating unique flavors. It takes approximately 2 weeks for grain, water & hops to become their tasty brews. Their brewery has a 4 barrel system & in 2008 they added two 8 barrel fermenting tanks allowing them to produce over 800 barrels annually. In their efforts to being earth friendly, 2008 was marked with the Wet Dog adding 15 Solar panels on their roof, on ly to be the 2nd brewery in the State of Oregon to use solor energy to…
