The Summer Night Swizzle

Make your own refreshing bourbon cocktails using Oregon Spirit Distillers bourbon, peach purée and fresh basil—the perfect drink for a summer patio picnic.

Summer Night Swizzle

1 1/2  ounces Oregon Spirit Distillers bourbon
1 ounce peach purée
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice
3 basil leaves
3 shakes of Angostura bitters
club soda

Gently muddle three basil leaves at the bottom of a tall cocktail glass. Fill halfway with crushed ice. Add Oregon Spirit Distillers bourbon, peach purée, lemon juice and simple syrup. Stir with long bar spoon. Top with more crushed ice, a splash of club soda and the Angostura bitters, creating a layered effect. Garnish with more fresh basil.
