Opulent lighting for your home

Simon sourced the San Pietro sconces over the fireplace from San Francisco designer Jiun Ho. The larger San Pietro pendant, shown here, has faceted glass that lends a bit of opulence and will cast a warm and sparkling glow to any room at night.

Hand-made turn-of-the-century design

The Britain-based paint and paper company Farrow & Ball has a reputation for manufacturing paint colors and wallpaper patterns that work well with historic properties. All of the wallpapers, including the Lotus design in the Huigens’ den, are fabricated using traditional block-and-trough printing techniques, which gives the paper a tactile quality perfect for creating cozy rooms.

French café home design

Conjure the everyday glamour of French cafés at your kitchen counter with Rejuvenation’s Nicolle Counter Stool, a factory-style stool first designed in the 1930s and still produced in France today. Made of powder-coated steel, it comes in a variety of finishes, including a classic Parisian red, and can be used indoors or out.
