At the heart of harvest is the celebration of bounty after another season of hard work. Food photographer Charlotte Dupont set out to capture the moments that exhaust and gratify every farmer—colorful root vegetables emerging from dark soil and bulbs of fruit landing in baskets. From Rainshadow Organics in Central Oregon to Deterings Orchard in the Willamette Valley, Oregon’s bounty is finding its way into  recipes and ovens around the state. Loved ones solidify relationships over the chopping block and around the dinner table, one savory squash dish and one apple crisp at a time. Dupont shot the cooking scenes among friends and family in her home kitchen in Eugene.
