Distance: 6 miles round trip from campground, 7 miles round trip from trailhead

Wild Notes: Trail gains 600 feet in elevation from the trailhead to the highest plateau. With the Cascade Mountain peaks as a backdrop, the 3.5 mile loop around the The Peninsula offers views of the Deschutes and Crooked River Canyons. Common wildflowers in the area include the Mariposa Lily and Blue Flax.
