Join us in welcoming three exceptional Hopi women artists, featuring master lapidary jeweler Sonwai (Verma Nequatewa), Earth minerals painter Pesavensi, (Donna Humetewa Kaye) and potter Dorothy Ami. The contemporary works of these Native American women integrate the integrity and beauty of Hopi lifeways and offer a glimpse into their deeply moral and ethical Pueblo world. Exhibition and sale of exquisite works in heirloom quality jewelry, richly symbolic paintings, and fine-walled Hopi pottery. Fourth Friday Art Stroll weekend in Sisters, September 28 – 30, with opening show and reception Friday, 4 – 7 pm. Open forum and discussion on Saturday from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. All events will take place at Raven Makes Gallery in Sisters, Oregon.
