DESCRIPTION:Portland Music Co-op Presents:\n\n"Summer Sessions" Band Camp &
 amp\; Music Lessons: Thursdays and Fridays in July and August. 10 to 2 pm.
 \n\nThursdays and Fridays from 10 to 2. Band camp is ages 7 to 18 with a r
 ecital on August 18th. Music Lessons are all ages\, and there will be adul
 t ensemble opportunities as well.\nThe environment is quiet and perfect fo
 r music study. Piano students will love our 5 pianos to choose from.\n\n&n
 bsp\;\n\nGreetings\, this is Mr. Giuliani from PDX Music Co-op\, and we ar
 e wishing to invite you or your student to our Summer Sessions@ St. David'
 s. Private music lessons are an affordable way to supplement your child's 
 education\, and give them music fundamentals and training that will enhanc
 e their cognitive skills and overall study habits and ability. They are al
 so a great way to stay plugged into a positive learning environment and wh
 olesome activity during the long hours of summer vacation. We seek to be a
  haven where our students can hang out before or after their lesson\, and 
 work on music with other students and our secondary instructors.\n\nLocate
 d at St. David of Wales church\, 2800 SE Harrison.\nWe have use of a music
  room\, chapel\, sanctuary\, and performance hall. Different acoustical en
 vironments emphasize the conservatory-like scholarship and curriculum prov
 ided at our Summer Sessions.\nOur program is a rigorous fundamental musica
 l education covering solo instrument practice\, choral singing\, piano har
 mony\, playing in ensemble\, music theory and music appreciation\, and dru
 mming. We emphasize nonlinear and improvisational concepts and techniques\
 , in addition to traditional western modes of music study and practice.\nT
 he music covered is based on the student's ability level. We draw from Jaz
 z\, Classical\, Folk\, Rock\, Pop\, World\, and Sacred music forms.\n\nWe 
 seek to provide outreach and scholarships to our youth\, and work with co-
 sponsors to ensure adequate funding is available for our kids.
