What: Renée Fleming returns to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall for the Oregon Symphony’s opening night of the 2018/19 season. One of the most celebrated singers of our time, the soprano captivates audiences with her voice, artistry and compelling stage presence. At a White House ceremony in 2013, President Obama awarded her the National Medal of Arts, America’s highest honor for an individual artist.

Fleming will perform favorites by Stephen Sondheim, Kander and Ebb, and more, as well as acclaimed songs she recorded for the films The Shape of Water, Bel Canto and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
