Nuggets Night is a tribute night to the lost gems of ‘60s garage, psych, and beyond to benefit music related nonprofits in Portland, Oregon. This year marks the event’s 10-year anniversary with headlining performances by garage rock legends The Pandoras, The Shadows of Knight, The Woggles and The Loons, plus a multitude of Portland bands all paying tribute to some of the most revolutionary music ever created. All profits from the festival will go to this year’s beneficiary, The Jeremy Wilson Foundation.
The idea behind Nuggets Night is to bring together fans of obscure ’60s garage and psychedelic rock and provide a night for musicians to play covers from the influential Nuggets compilations and beyond. Each night features 10 Portland opening acts, all playing 15 minute sets on shared backline gear to keep the music rolling. The evening peaks with legendary garage rock icons performing full sets.
Friday, June 23:
The Nuggets Night 2017 benefit for The Jeremy Wilson Foundation kicks off with The Pandoras and The Shadows of Knight with Portland bands Paradise, The Lovesores, THE SELLWOODS, The Strange Effects, The Mean Reds, FIRE NUNS, Lagoon Squad, Thee Nastees (ft. members of SEX CRIME, The Suicide Notes, and Crush Hazard), The Foolish Pride (ft. members of The Cool Whips and The Zags), and The Magic Wanda’s (ft. members of Beyond Veronica).

Saturday, June 24:
The Nuggets Night 2017 benefit for The Jeremy Wilson Foundation finishes with sets by garage soul warriors The Woggles and psychedelic stompers The Loons. Portland bands include The Pynnacles, The Shriekers, Dartgun and the Vignettes, The High Violets, Silver Ships, Ten Million Lights, RAF Mod Band, Cigarette McQueen, Salamander Island (ft. Jeremy Wilson), and Paper Cameras.
