“My most current work marries identified tree branches to serene, color drenched fields. I have titled this the ‘historical’ series. Working with arborists, verified branches are returned to their former selves (the lilac painting has an authenticated lilac branch). This subtle exploration of identity and individuality is very exciting to me, and where I am the most focused today.”
