DESCRIPTION:Portland area dog lovers\, kids\, Kleenex\, and cameras are wel
 come every other Saturday at Guide\nDogs for the Blind’s heartwarming pu
 blic graduation ceremonies at the organization’s campus in Boring.\nThes
 e public events honor the independence and companionship that GDB’s exce
 ptional guide dogs provide\nfor the people they will serve\, but they also
  allow GDB clients to meet the committed puppy raisers who cared\nfor thei
 r canine heroes until they were old enough to begin formal training at the
  campus. Graduation day public tours of the campus are offered at 10:30 a.
 m. or noon on the days of the ceremonies. Public graduations take place ev
 ery other Saturday in 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
