— Guide Dogs for the Blind Campus—
Come join Guide Dogs for the Blind to celebrate their public guide dog graduation ceremonies at their Boring campus every other Saturday beginning at 1:30pm.
Guide Dogs for the Blind graduation events celebrate the graduating dogs, the puppy handlers and the future clients. They also allow the clients to meet the puppy raisers who have invested time into helping raise their future guide dog.
The graduation event starts at 1:30pm. Additionally, graduation day public tours of the Guide Dogs for the Blind campus are offered at 10:30 a.m. or noon on the days of the ceremonies. Pre-registered large tour groups are also welcome.
Guide Dogs for the Blind is more than an industry-leading guide dog school; it is a passionate community that serves the visually impaired. It prepares highly qualified guide dogs to serve and empower individuals who are blind or have low vision. All of its services are provided free of charge, it receives no government funding. Graduations allow puppy raisers to present the dogs that they raised, and bring together the community with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Class of ’18 and with the families and friends of graduates and puppy raisers.
