Oregon Potters Association’s 36th annual Ceramic Showcase features more than 150 members.  Visitors will be able to meet the ceramic artists, view and purchase their latest work of sculptures, wall art, and functional pottery for the home, garden and work.  This is a great place to pick up beautiful gifts for Mother’s Day, weddings, housewarmings and other celebrations.

Dates are Friday, April 27 10am-7pm, Saturday, April 28 10am-5pm, and Sunday April 29 10am-4pm.  This event runs concurrently with The Gathering of the Guilds and happens at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Portland.  Admission is free.  Artists will be showing and selling one of a kind clay art pieces in a gallery setting.

Demonstrations run throughout the show. There is a children’s clay play area, area high school student pottery display, and 60 peace poles will be displayed and sold with proceeds going to charity. Go to www.ceramicshowcase.com for updates and photos.
