Dr. Tracy Prince will show how dramatically different the terrain of Old Portland was from what we see today. Learn about the building of the Great Plank Road, burying creeks, lakes and gulches as well as the building of streets on 20′-50′ pilings; the flatlands that are infilled wetlands of Native Americans and Chinese Americans.
