In her one-woman commitment to change, Susan Curington melds passion for painting with passion for pollinator health in a super-size exhibition of fruit and vegetable blossoms seen from a bee’s perspective. Nine 6’ x 4’ paintings use color, light, lush texture and scale to stimulate the viewer to experience an alternate world view.
On May 1, 2019, “As The Bee Sees: A Pollinator’s Perspective” debuts in the Beaverton City Library, 12375 SW Fifth St., Beaverton, OR 97005. The exhibit is open to the public at the library through May and June.
“As The Bee Sees” continues its journey through the state, traveling to Hood River in June; Oregon State University, Corvallis in August and September; Linfield College, McMinnville in October; and potentially Hillsboro, OR in the spring of 2020.
