Tuesday, August 6th 5:00pm-7:30pm -The Old Church Concert Hall

For immediate release.

Portland, OR – ARCIFORM, Portland’s leading home renovation and preservation contractor, announced today the Inspired by Family Home Design Workshop. Led by owner and principal designer of ARCIFORM, Anne De Wolf, participants will learn how as one’s family changes, expands, shrinks, or ages, various considerations come into play.

The Inspired by Family Home Design Workshop is a part of the Home Design Workshop series developed by De Wolf, which explores topics such as how people can design their homes to fit various life stages, designing accessory dwelling units and what to expect with a whole house remodel.

The family inspired workshop is a result of lessons learned, for designing a home for new parents and caring for aging family members. Specifically, De Wolf shares her knowledge with the public on incorporating renovations for new babies to pet door retrofits to wheelchair accessible remodels for aging family and spouses.

About ARCIFORM
Anne De Wolf holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Marylhurst University and has found her niche in the restoration and remodeling of pre-World War II homes around the Greater Portland area. De Wolf emphasizes the value of craftsmanship, sustainability and respect for a building’s original architectural intent. Her projects have included houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places such as the A. G. Long House, a 1908 Colonial Revival; the Coleman-Scott House, a 1916 Colonial; and the Barnes Mansion, a residence built from 1913 to 1914 in the Colonial Revival, Jacobethan and Arts and Crafts styles.

She believes the most rewarding thing a designer can do is mentor young people and participates in student design reviews at Portland Community College and Marylhurst University.
