Can Font – Portland is the sister restaurant to Chef Josep Vidal’s Can Font in Barcelona, Spain. Under the apprenticeship and direction of Chef Josep María Freixa (father of renowned Michelin star Chef Ramón Freixa) at well-respected El Racó d’en Freixa Restaurant in Barcelona, Vidal found his inspiration and his forged an intimate relationship with food and an inclusive dining experience. Always loving challenges, he followed a childhood ambition to travel to the U.S. and start a restaurant serving traditional, modern Spanish cuisine with Co-Owner Vladimir Zaharchook-Williams.
