The 152^nd Oregon State Fair runs Friday, August 25, through Monday, September 4 in Salem. This year, the theme, The Colors of Fun is meant to draw out the artist in all.

Two coloring contests, several big prizes:

This year’s fair features two coloring contests for big prizes. The first, awards winners earn Meet and Greet passes to the Oregon State Fair concerts.

The carnival feel:

This year’s program will continue to serve up big screams with more than 50 thrilling carnival rides. The annual attractions are also back – street performers, horse competitions, canine agility tests, world reptiles, nightly laser show, and much more.

New contests:

New and unique Creative Living contests feature numerous competitions in the categories of Culinary & Beverage, Creative Living, Animals, Talent Search and Best of the Best.

Special Programs return, too, with Dia de La Familia, Summer Reading Achievement, and the Talent Search among others.
